Your responsibilities
thyssenkrupp System Engineering (tk SY) is currently seeking an individual to serve in the role of Project Engineer Mechanical (PEM) within the Service organization. The Project Engineer Mechanical is an integral part of the core project team and is responsible for leading all aspects of mechanical applications for Service projects. Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as the customer’s primary point-of-contact for mechanical designs, studies, issues, etc.
Responsible for resource planning related to mechanical engineering. Accountable for the line-up and follow-up of internal and / or external resources to meet project timing and budget constraints.
Assists the core team in writing station specifications.
Responsible for the quality and completeness of mechanical design.
Supports issue resolution as directed by the Service Project Manager.
Provides input to the Service Project Manager for quoting changes to customer and updating the design and build specifications and schedule.
Other duties may be assigned as required.

Your profile

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a 4-year college or university and 5 years of industry-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Required knowledge of CAD systems such as Autodesk, NX, CATIA, and SolidWorks.
Must have experience with the mechanical engineering of automated machines.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with the customer, supervision, engineering, and management.
Ability to present information and respond to questions from customers and suppliers.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
