We are growing so we are looking for Deisel Technicians for our Sioux Falls location.
TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Volvo Construction Equipment and a multiple of other product lines to support the Construction and Agriculture Industry. Diagnose and repair equipment including compactors, excavators, loaders and other heavy construction equipment.
- Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, including, but not limited to machinery, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including part uses, services provided and relevant notes.
- Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
- Complete service reports, order parts and maintain clear customer records.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest truck technologies and repair techniques thorugh continuous training and learning opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Two-year technical degree and/or equivalent job experience in the diesel and/or equipment field.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems and components, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems.
- Previous experience working on Volvo equipment is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills.
- Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service.
- Computer, written and verbal communication skills.
- Clean driving record.
