Looking for an opportunity for growth in Human Resources? We are currently seeking a motivated HR Junior Generalist to join our team! The Junior Generalist is responsible for supporting the Human Resources function with a focus in the areas of employee relations and recruiting. The Junior Generalist will primarily support program and partner areas for our NY locations (Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess Counties). Additional responsibilities include assisting in internal investigations, performance management, employee engagement and appreciation and other special projects. This position is based in Chappaqua, NY but will include some travel to other nearby NY counties and Fairfield County, CT.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a minimum of 1-2 years of human resources experience, preferably in employee relations and/or recruiting. Knowledge of employment law a plus. PHR certification also a plus. The position requires a self-starter with excellent problem analysis/resolution, employee relations, training and customer service skills. Proven ability to effectively build and leverage professional relationships and work well within a team approach environment. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills are a must. High level of accuracy, detail orientation and strong computer skills. Works well independently, as needed, with limited supervision.
