These tests fuel development of its LUNAR program, which aims to address the needs of early stage cancer patients with neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatment selection, cancer survivors with surveillance, asymptomatic individuals eligible for cancer screening and individuals at a higher risk for developing cancer with early detection.

Job Description

Perform instrument IQ/OQ/PQ, PMs, and calibrations to ensure that instruments meet Guardant Health’s quality system requirements.
Performance and documentation of internal IQ/OQ/PQs, calibrations, and PM activities per
Proficient in the use of the calibration and maintenance asset management/calibration software (data entry, records maintenance, report generation, and other related required documentation)
Communicate with labs to coordinate calibration/preventative maintenance events
Evaluate equipment for fitness of use and verification of performance within specified parameters per established calibration procedures
Ensure proper documentation following GDP
Effectively communicate with third party service providers
Organize and execute equipment moves and recalibration
Ensure necessary supplies and equipment are ready and available
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Experience authoring and executing calibrations, preventative maintenance, minor repair work, and other service-related work and documentation
Working knowledge of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions
Experience applying 5S, Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in-person or via email with internal and external customers from diverse scientific, engineering, operational, and regulatory disciplines
Ability to take part in an on-call rotation with after hours/weekend response as needed
Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed

Education:
BS degree in an engineering or scientific discipline with 1-3 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

Physical Requirements

Employee may frequently exert up to 20-50 pounds of force to push or lift equipment
This position requires standing/walking/crawling regularly

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
