This role is more than just coding. We need a data science developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using Agile software development methodologies, you’ll build modern applications with serverless containers and microservices that perform complex data processing tasks for Cyber analysts. You’ll collaborate with teammates, develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to develop solutions that help military leaders make informed decisions. As a technical team member, you’ll support new opportunities to use data science solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. 1+ years of experience with software or analytic development for prototype capabilities and production systems
Experience with performing Agile software development methodologies as a developer
Experience with designing, building, and executing statistical models and machine learning algorithms
Experience with data visualization
Experience in performing automation of human tasks with scripts or orchestration tools
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
1+ years of experience with designing novel data analytic methods and workflows, including full data pipelines from raw data through analysis results
1+ years of experience in managing disparate data sources with varying data structures of content and preparing these for data science and machine learning applications
Experience with building full-stack solutions on-premise and in services providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with developing applications supporting DoD and intelligence community clients
Experience with developing secure applications and working with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Ability to both manage and manipulate large data sets, develop data science approaches, and manage data science tasks
Ability to leverage a wide variety of data science capabilities and languages
Ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative, and innovation when dealing with ambiguous and fast-paced situations
BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field preferred; MA or MS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field a plus
Certifications or training in Java or AWS
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
