Wyndham Destinations is currently seeking a Learning & Development Specialist in Orlando, Florida. The Learning and Development Specialist will assist with identifying gaps in performance and behaviors and define learning solutions to meet the priorities and needs of resort operations, call center and corporate business partners. This individual will work directly with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to design, develop and facilitate effective learning and development solutions which support the strategic direction of Human Resources, Corporate Learning and Development and business partners. The Learning and Development Specialist will assist with measuring and evaluating effectiveness of learning solution making changes to design and development as needed.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design: Design learning and talent development solutions aligned to organizational goals and competencies, HR and L&D Enterprise priorities and business partner priorities.
Development: Build learning solutions designed to meet organizational goals and priorities. Utilize design documents, storyboards, and implement best practices in adult learning theory. Leverage innovative learning methodology and technology to engage participants, deliver content and increase overall effectiveness of learning.
Facilitate: Facilitate engaging Learning and Development programs incorporating Adult Learning Principles. Ensure relevance, consistency and quality of programs through learner-focused delivery of content and training materials. Serve as subject matter expert regarding curriculum and real-life application to maximize learning experience. Provide a safe working environment through effective facilitator/participant relationship building. Work with business partners to ensure learning application and behavioral modification to achieve desired results.
Implement: Plan, prepare, and execute new learning solutions. Develop procedures to train trainers and learners on course curriculum, learning outcomes and method of delivery. Facilitate training to establish additional SMEs that support the implementation of learning solutions. Evaluate design of program throughout implementation process.
Analyze: Assist supervisor with business partner consultation for L&D leadership, HR partners and business partners to identify gaps in performance and behavior to define learning solution objectives.
Evaluate: Develop, implement and maintain measurement and evaluation strategies to assess efficiency and effectiveness of learning solution on performance and behavior. Design and develop change to learning solution based on evaluation results.

Qualifications:
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education or related discipline preferred
Master’s Degree preferred
Training requirements

Certification in various leadership programs preferred
Franklin Covey Leading at the Speed of Trust
Emergentics
Emotional Intelligence/EQ
Professional Certifications preferred
Facilitator certification
ISD certification
Knowledge and skills

Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
Working knowledge of Instructional Systems Design methodology
Handle multiple projects and demonstrate strong project management skills
Be a strong self-starter and flex to ever-changing priorities and demands
Able to work with others and communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
Strong organizational and time management skills
Able to establish strong, trusted partnerships
Must be professional, responsive and respectful
Technical Skills

Advanced PC skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Skills in MS SharePoint, WebEx preferred
Learning Management System
Graphic design software (Illustrator, Flash, or equivalent media)
Job experience

2+ years of needs analysis and design and development of course material
2+ years training and facilitation experience
Leadership development experience preferred
Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement.
