A MECI Graduate Assistant will work with the Registrar’s office to scan and digitize grade reports and important records duties for no more than 20 hours per week. This work requires the ability to be able to use a scanner, Microsoft Office, PDFs, and a file management program. The Graduate Assistant will also be needed to file important documents and to help communicate at the front desk.

Duties of this position will include, but are not limited to:
Scanning documents
Labelling electronic and physical files
Filing physical documents within the correct area of the office
Help communicate and greet students, faculty, and staff at the front desk
Required Skills

Basic computer skills
Experience with naming files and scanning documents
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work with sensitive data and information
Interested graduate students, already accepted into the MECI graduate program, must upload their letter of interest, resume/CV, transcripts, and contact information for three professional references below. Review of resumes will begin immediately. All applications are due by June 15, 2019.

MECI Recruiting Initiative: As a way to recruit students into the newly launched MECI (Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction) program, the University is offering a unique variation on the regular Graduate Assistant program. Teachers who plan to enroll in a minimum of 6 credits in the fall semester of the MECI program are eligible to apply for a Graduate Assistant position during the preceding summer. If they are offered a GA position, they will be paid $1,000 for their summer hours, and they may enroll in up to 9 credits tuition-free in the fall. Teachers who enroll in a minimum of 6 credits in the spring semester of the MECI program may receive from 6 to 9 credits tuition-free for that semester, as long as they guarantee that they will fill a Graduate Assistant position the following summer, for which they will be paid $1,000. In the event a Teacher benefits from free credits in the spring semester but fails to fulfill the summer GA obligation, they will be invoiced retroactively for their spring credits at the regular full tuition rate. Teachers are eligible for free summer housing on campus when they are filling a GA position, but are not required to live on campus. This is an introductory recruiting initiative and there is no guarantee that it will continue indefinitely.
