Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

CPA firm based in West Los Angeles looking for a experienced, positive, and motivated office assistant / receptionist. The hours for this position is from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday-Friday. Some overtime may be required during the tax season.

Duties:

  • Greet visitors and announce their arrival
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner and screen calls
  • Check paper supply every morning
  • Make coffee and keep kitchen in order throughout the day
  • Retrieve faxes coming in throughout the day and place in employees inbox
  • Run dishwasher / empty dishwasher as needed
  • Keep administration room orderly
  • Keep file room clean and file all folders
  • Pickup and distribute incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner including FedEx and Couriers
  • Assembling Tax Returns
  • Other administrative tasks as necessary

Applicant must be professional with at least 2-3 years of administrative experience and have the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, organized, proactive and resourceful. Must possess good communication skills and have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous CPA experience is a plus.
