Provides overall administrative oversight, program and strategy development and market/needs assessment to assure coordinated, integrated delivery of care in most appropriate setting. Responsible for strategic, fiscal and operational continuum planning. Provides leadership and direction to management staff, works closely with administration, nursing and medical staff leadership to assure best practice implementation and high quality care delivery. Contributes to development of strategic plan, metrics to support progress and plans to achieve objectives and goals.
NYS RN License required
Masters degree in health care, business or related field preferred.
Five to ten years of progressive administrative experience in a hospital or healthcare environment preferred
Must demonstrate knowledge of management techniques, market analysis, financial management, interpersonal relationship skills and group dynamics.
Demonstrated skill in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and services; considerable skill in communication with physicians, staff, other professionals, patients and their families; good skill managing professional staff; good skill in developing evaluation tools and techniques to assess rehabilitation patient progress
