Piper Jaffray Integration Architect Internship

Piper Jaffray is currently seeking interns for Summer 2020 to be an Integration Architect intern on our technology team in Minneapolis, MN.

Become a key developer and contributor on a team working with PJC’s trading platform integration technologies and processes, working closely with the existing team of individuals on the Integration team as well as our vendors and external business partners. Responsible for the design, definition, creation, testing, implementation, and documentation of integration touchpoints.

Exposure to the following platforms, languages, and databases:
  • ASP.NET using C#
  • HTML
  • Query
  • CSS
  • IIS Web Server
  • Microsoft Transact-SQL
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • XML/XSLT development
  • Exposure to Sharepoint as an administrator or developer
  • TFS
  • Visual Studio
Design, develop, and install enhancements and upgrades to systems and application software.
Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new or changed integration software programs.
Learn, contribute to, and enforce functional policies, procedures, and best practices.
Develop procedures, guidelines and documentation as needed for the Integration team.
Work in close partnership with existing Data Management and Integration to ensure overall cohesion of provided solutions.

Knowledge of development platforms including web servers, application servers, and server farms.

Interns will participate in our firm-wide internship program consisting of a kickoff event in Minneapolis and a speaker series program where you will hear from top business leaders with the opportunity to network and learn about the various opportunities within finance.

This internship opportunity is open to undergraduate or graduate students who graduate in December 2020 or Spring 2021.
