While Basketball Operations runs the league’s on-court activities, other departments manage relationships with television and digital media partners, develop marketing partnerships with some of the world’s most recognizable companies, oversee the licensing of NBA merchandise, and handle a wide range of responsibilities that drive the NBA’s success.
Support the implementation and execution of revenue generating retail marketing programs at Amazon and Fanatics. Develop, maintain, and share all RP financial and business analytics, including retail marketing business planning, budgets, travel expenses, retail sales information (including team retail monthly and year-end financial tracking, and Fanatics daily/weekly/monthly reports). Maintain RP retail program tracking and recap resources.
Support Retail Partnerships Group Leader to explore, develop and execute retailer promotions, events and partnership platforms.
Management of retail development budget, departmental filing system and Retail account recaps (tracking / analyzing ROI on marketing spends).
Facilitate conversations with internal and external CDS teams related to Fanatics and amazon.
Support Retail Partnership team by compiling research, developing retail presentation decks, and recapping / analyzing results.
Handle business review process associated with promotional activity.
Support special retail events (Team Summit, All-Star & Playoffs/Finals) and emerging retail opportunities (hot market, new trends, etc.) Understand and study comparable brands at retail (NFL, NHL, MLB & entertainment) as well as merchandise trends (styling, pricing, quality and value).
An individual who is team oriented and comfortable with collaborating and sharing ideas within the department and cross-department.
Expert in financial planning and budgets.
Must be interested in retail, shopping and shopper marketing, partnership development and execution.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proactive employee who is results driven, can anticipate needs and is responsive.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience in and working knowledge of social / digital marketing realm.
Expert in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
Ability to multi-task and work in high pressure situations with multiple contacts - both internal and external.
3-5 years in a retail environment (preferably ecommerce), with significant financial or business analytics background.
Proven track record of working on a team / being a team player.

4 year degree in business. Preferred core in finance, marketing, communication and/ or management.
