RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB PURPOSE: Colorado based survey firm seeking a crew chief. Candidates must have a proven track record for attention to detail and accuracy of work, strong communications skills and the ability to work in a team environment. In this role, a team member will be expected to demonstrate proficiency with the following responsibilities:
Accountability and dependability in completing tasks and assignments accurately and on time; following up as appropriate, taking responsibility for actions, meeting deadlines, following company policies and procedures.
Proficiency in mathematics and measurements.
Experience required with Trimble GPS and Robotic Total Stations and Data Collectors; experience preferred with operating a laptop and Microsoft software.
Knowledgeable in construction processes and the interaction between surveying and the contractor.
Perform survey activities such as: leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, construction layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile and cross-section surveys.
Perform physical tasks such as: line clearing, pounding stakes, setting monuments.
Record detailed field notes legibly and accurately in the company required standard format.
Communicate effectively with internal team members and with other survey staff.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to work, and must have a good driving record. Background checks are required. Must be able to past a drug test.
We work on Colorado construction projects throughout the Denver-metro and surrounding front-range areas. Colorado applicants will be given priority consideration.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
