Summary:
This position is responsible for designing, developing, programming, and maintaining organization-specific end user software, including desktop, web, database, web services, and mobile applications, by developing business requirements and user needs across all aspects of the software development life-cycle from scope and definition to technical solution and post-implementation maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Prepares and reviews technical documentation to assist with the development, maintenance and upgrades of software.Tests and troubleshoots new and existing software to ensure that the quality and functionality are reliable, accessible and meet the business, function, technical requirements and user needs.Leads system software design, development, and maintenance to ensure that the quality and functionality of the software meets system requirements.Participates in software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by reviewing and correcting programming errors, recognizing to scope changes, coding application enhancements, and/or reviewing the work of less-experienced developers.Evaluates moderately complex business, functional, technical requirements and specifications as well as user needs for organization-specific software.Functions as an independent project manager, managing work activities and project lifecycle for a specific software development or enhancement initiatives.Translates moderately complex design specifications and user needs into required application scope and objectives.Analyzes moderately complex software performance metrics against industry trends and developments to support the development and design of improvement strategies.Designs and develops software by coding, testing, conducting maintenance, and/or reviewing the work of less-experienced developers.
