Veterinary Assistant/Licensed Technician
The Sams Clinic is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant/Licensed Technician.
This is your opportunity to join The Sams Clinic, an Orthopedic, Soft tissue Surgery, and Rehabilitation facility.
Work directly with Board Certified doctors (Surgeons, Anesthesiologist, and Rehabilitation specialist)
We are looking for a motivated strong skilled individual to join our team of technicians and Doctors.
Our Clinic includes two large surgical suites, digital radiography, a CT scanner, and a rehabilitation department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited too:
- Assisting doctors and staff with patients: surgery, exams, treatments, and radiographs
- Client communication
- Care of patients pre/peri/post-surgical and general treatments
- Care of hospitalized patients (non-surgical)
- Organization and cleanliness

- Positive attitude in working with clients, doctors, and other staff. We have a smaller staff and work closely together daily.
- Effective teamwork is essential to the success of our practice. Therefore, we place importance on both technical and communication skills.
- Accurate recordkeeping, self-motivation, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted and be able to stand, sit, and kneel for potentially long periods.
- Exceptional attendance
- Veterinary technician/assistant experience

- Full-Time 40 hours, normally 10-hour shifts x 4 days a week Monday-Thursday
- No scheduled to work overnight or on weekends
- No planned emergency work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.50 - $41.00 per hour
