We are searching for an experienced Staff Accountant who should be able to work independently or as part of the team, be well-organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of the monthly close of the general ledger system and the year-end audits, oversee the general ledger system, various journal entries, analysis, and reconciliations. This position will work on various projects as required as well as participate in the design, planning, and implementation of process improvements. This position will provide support to the accountants in the field and various other departments within the company. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of inter-company accounting, and People Soft is a plus.
Some previous experience in general or corporate accounting is required. CPA or candidate preferred.
Prepare journal entries and process accounting data including monthly equalization and allocation processes.
Prepare intermediate and multi-currency bank reconciliations.
Prepare intermediate account analyses.
Support the senior staff members in close processes and general accounting functions.
Gather and manipulate data to facilitate analysis and provide support for such analysis as needed.
Prepare process documentation for review and by senior members of the team. Incorporate such feedback into documents and maintain an organized database of reference materials with support of Senior Accountant.
Provide support to the accountants in the field and various other departments within the company.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
2 - 4 years experience in an Accounting/Finance environment
CPA or CPA Candidate Preferred
