Body Shop Manager

Domestic New Car Dealership - Warminster, PA

As the Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of an auto body repair operation including staffing, scheduling, production, estimating, insurance interface and customer service.

Qualified candidates will have experience with coordinating shop production using efficient production processes that improve quality and reduce cycle times. We are seeking a detailed professional with a take-charge attitude.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them
Prepares job estimates, D.R.P. (insurance estimating and billing), and schedules jobs
Follows up on all problem accounts receivable issues
Directs and schedules the activities of all department associates
Issues warranties, complaints, and repairs
Responsible for recruiting new accounts
Ensures customer satisfaction
Required to understand and keep abreast of all federal, state and local regulations that affect their operations

Qualifications:
Solid estimation experience and estimators license
Two years of experience in an auto repair facility. One year of supervisory experience.
Ability to operate the department at a profit according to dealership guidelines.
Excellent communication, supervisory and managerial skills.
Valid driver's license
