Role & Responsibilities:
As the FC Learning & Development Manager, you will enable a high-performance learning culture within the supply chain facilities by fostering a reliability-centered environment that ensures buildings are running with efficiency and with a focus on process improvement initiatives. You will develop a safe and continuous improvement ethic within each facility that is data-driven and focused on root cause elimination.

Responsibilities:
Training & Development:
Identify personnel to act as a project initial qualifier and or subject matter expert, who can help lead training of additional production personnel.
Ensure that company and regulatory requirements are captured in training and standard work and guide those activities.
Provides guidance and development of certified technical trainers (train the trainer program).
Align with the business to discover impactful ways for measuring training effectiveness, including auditing learning events.
Align with site leadership to help drive completion for all required compliance or regulatory training.
Update current training documentation so that it captures the necessary steps and information regarding the content being.
Identify and prioritize employee technical knowledge/skill gaps and partner with site leadership to execute gap closure plan.
Ability to develop and deliver training courses to site from onboarding to continuous development.
Calculating ROI/value of improvements to Operation/Fulfillment performance and reduction of time to performance.
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices; Maintain LMS.
SOP Management & Efficiency

You will improve the reliability of the system through ownership in defect handling, breakdown elimination and planning and scheduling.
You will develop and create SOP's for the entire network and create/implement a network auditing program to test commitment.
Lead cross functional continuous improvement teams (Kaizen teams)
Help identify success metrics for operations / fulfillment.
Safety & Risk Management: Manage the entire safety & risk management program.

Responsible for all monthly and annual reporting
Train all locations on incident/accident reporting and ensure compliance on required trainings.
Point person for occupational health & compliance (including invoicing review)
Create a culture of safety (weekly tips, trainings, handbook, policies, signage, etc …)
OSHA commitment and Network Compliance

Project Management:
You will work on numerous projects with varying timelines. The ability to multi-task and execute at a high level are critical for this role.
You will be the main point of contact in conjunction with the VP, Fulfillment and the local GM's to help startup the new FC's within the network as we continue to scale.
Read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures to employees, managers and other stakeholders.
Other duties; this is a new role and changes to the role will occur as it is being developed.

Requirements:
4-year degree and/or equivalent work experience in a learning & development role.
3+ years experience in a learning & development role with a demonstrated ability to execute L&D and problem-solving tools and SOP systems.
Solid project management skills with a sense of prioritization ability to defend your methodologies, as well as, to work under deadlines in an ambiguous environment.
Strong detail, communication and collaboration capability to work within and influence facility managers and team members.
A data-driven mindset, proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
Experience with multi-facility projects
Ability to perform with minimal direction.

Preferred Requirements:
Industry experience with e-commerce platforms.
Specific learning & development experience working in manufacturing, fulfillment center and/or warehouse environments.
HAZMAT Certification
Project Management Experience (PMP certification preferred)
Process Kaizen Lead or Process Kaizen Expert Certification

Additional Requirements:
Be on call to provide support to 24x7 operations.
Travel up to 25-50% required
