Full Job Description

The Goddard School - Marriottsville (Ellicott City) is looking for energetic and organized preschool teachers to add to our school. The Goddard School is a licensed preschool, teaching children from 6 weeks of age through pre-kindergarten while providing a fun learning experience.

Job Description: The teacher is responsible for the care and education of a group of children, working as a lead teacher in partnership with a co-lead. Together both teachers design and implement age appropriate lesson plans. Teachers are responsible for keeping their classroom organized and clean, and communicating with parents in person and in writing. Teachers are responsible for doing quarterly observations and monthly portfolios. The teacher will support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance while establishing positive and effective family relations. Teacher Educational Qualifications-All candidates must have one or more of the following

All candidates must have the followings:

Own reliable transportation
Experience working with young children; school setting is preferred
Comfort with tablet technology for record keeping and communication
Mastery of the English language, as spoken and written, to permit effective communication with parents, staff and management.
