This job is focused on providing administrative support mainly within order entry but will also include other administrative duties.

Customer list collection and management

Digital email campaign management

Order Entry & Billing

Accounts Receivable

Developing work flow procedures

Analyzing and developing methods for improvement of work flow efficiencies

The ideal candidate will have a hybrid of skills and abilities. A combination of right and left brained. A unique individual with a creative, strategic mind combined with an extreme eye for detail. They should be able to work within a small office environment, and be able to manage multiple projects, priorities and tasks. They should be a hands a person that is able to roll up their sleeves and be willing to do hands on work in a variety of areas.

Person MUST have experience working within Quick Books or an equivalent accounting system. They need to have an educational background in accounting with a minimum of an associates degree in business or accounting.

We are a small company that is growing, and looking for a creative and strategic team member that can help us make the transition to a larger company. There are many opportunities for improvement in efficiencies and workflows through various means including incorporating 3rd party software, EDI, and order automation. We need somebody that enjoys researching software, and new applications.

Required Skills:

- Excel spreadsheet skills

- Ability to learn new software quickly

- Experience managing and analyzing complex data sets

- Extreme eye for detail

- Knowledge and hands on use of Quick Books, or other accounting software

- Basic accounting and financial knowledge

- Typing minimum of 60 WPM.

Education & Skills:

Variety of educational backgrounds might be appropriate. Key is for the person to love detail oriented work. Backgrounds could be business, accounting, software, logistics, programming, engineering, or customer service. Should like to multi-task and work under pressure. Should be a team player and thrive in a small company casual environment. Should be a quick learner in all areas and able to work independently once trained and shown how to do tasks. Associates degree is required in subject matter related to job function.
