Citi’s Liquidity Reporting team is seeking a seasoned Financial Services leader (preferably at a major US Bank) for the position of Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Derivatives Lead. Individual in this role will manage the implementation and interpretations of the Treasury Liquidity reports and underlying frameworks.
The focus will be to develop product specific subject matter expertise and work in conjunction with other stakeholders on the development of Derivative product specific processes. The individual will be a critical contributor in strategic projects supporting regulatory feedback and/or internal business developments and influence Citi’s data infrastructure.
The preferred candidate will have more than 10 years of direct experience leading regulatory reporting or liquidity management cross-functional programs with extensive product specific knowledge with Derivatives and liquidity related reporting.
This role is within Liquidity Reporting team, which leads Citi’s liquidity regulatory reporting oversight and initiatives as well as liquidity issue management. The team focuses on the FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR and ILST reports and all related aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and interpretation of liquidity regulatory reporting interpretations including FR2052a, LCR, NSFR and ILSTs with specific responsibilities for end-to-end Derivatives reporting requirements.

Lead the team responsible for detailed product-specific analysis to support interpretations calibration which will require strong collaboration and engagement with partners across Business, Controllers, Legal, Treasury and Risk functions.

Facilitate committee discussions and working groups that would review and approve liquidity regulatory interpretation implementation.

Make strategic recommendations against liquidity regulatory reporting that may influence balance sheet and liquidity optimization across legal entities and businesses.

Lead the coordination and development of proofs of concept, including financial impact assessments, for liquidity regulatory reporting interpretation enhancements.

Lead the definition of use cases to articulate new functional software needs and the roles of each class of application usage.

Lead the documentation exercise of Business Requirements (“BRDs”) for liquidity regulatory reporting system enhancements.

Define the testing strategy standards including User Acceptance Testing (“UAT”) reviews.

Support the overall liquidity reporting change management process from data sourcing to report output, for both new reporting capabilities and existing capabilities undergoing enhancement.

Identify and drive the development of scalable solutions in anticipation of future regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

10+ years of demonstrated regulatory reporting or liquidity management leadership experience with recognized ability to develop and lead teams as well as daily reporting, preferably in Legal, Controllers, Treasury, or a Business with understanding of liquidity-based metrics, regulatory reporting, analytics, and regulation (US LCR, US NSFR, FR 2052a reporting)

Demonstrated understanding of liquidity regulatory reporting implementation and interpretations and best practices that are the foundation of the FR 2052a report.

Team leadership experience, preferably leading cross-functional initiatives in Treasury, Controllers, Legal or a Business at a major financial institution

Awareness of changing nature of liquidity regulation and ability to implement the interpretation of regulations into liquidity systems and design solutions specific to liquidity regulatory reporting (e.g., FR 2052a)

Demonstrated execution skills and successful record of operating in a transformation environment including process and technology change management.
