At Intel Ocotillo Site we are continuously upgrading the factories in order to provide the latest and most innovative products to the market. These upgrades require factory warm downs allowing the integration of newly installed systems and tools into the existing factories. We are looking for a Construction Project Management Intern to assist us with managing factory warm downs.
In this role, you will:
Work with a large group of stakeholders including project owners, production coordinators and manufacturing tool owners.
Ensure timely and effective collection, analysis, and dissemination of information, as well as forecasting risk and implementing strategic solutions to exploit or mitigate these risks.
Analyze the current process for managing the warm downs, identify solutions for improvement, and implement those solutions.
Also, you may be assigned to support other construction projects in addition to the factory warm downs. This work may require performing field walks in sensitive manufacturing areas or construction sites with heavy equipment.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Developing, managing, and troubleshooting Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) for the factory warm downs.
Providing insightful reports to the factory management, the warm down team, and the impacted stakeholders.
Coordinating work plan review meetings to ensure project owners have well-developed plans for their projects.
Becoming knowledgeable about the interdependency of the facilities systems and the proper procedures for performing work on them or for shutting them down and restarting them.
** This is an Intern position for a student willing to work part time in Arizona starting Summer/Fall through Spring 2021. Relocation assistance will not be provided**
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in either Engineering or Construction Management or a closely related field.
6 months of experience in:
Communicating with a large technical audience
Leading a technical project team
Project Management Information Systems (PMIS including database management and web design)
Microsoft Excel including writing Macros
Leadership experience in academic, professional, or student organizations
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and supporting facility systems
Knowledge of industrial construction
PMI CAPM or PMI PMP certification
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online
Knowledge of SQL
Experience with analyzing data using a statistical software such as JMP or R
Experience with creating presentations for the executive-level management
