We are looking for creative, professional and energetic candidates, who have their pulse on social media trends and thoroughly understand how to maximize interaction.
As the Social Media Manager at Bill Luke Marana, you will create, manage, and execute social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. You will use tools such as Canva and in-app editing features to craft engaging and professional content that resonates with our target audience. Your role will enhance our brand’s visibility, drive engagement, and generate leads.

Primary Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, however, there will be times that require flexibility to work weekend events and promotions.

Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and design compelling and entertaining social media content using Canva and in-app editing tools.
- Engagement & Growth: Strategize and implement innovative campaigns to boost engagement and grow our follower base, while understanding and targeting our demographic.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the success of social media posts and campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance.
- On-Camera Presence: Be comfortable appearing on camera for video content, showcasing our vehicles, deals, and dealership highlights.
- Regular Meetings: Schedule monthly and/or bi-weekly check-ins with managers to share updates and gather content ideas.
- Content Requests: Communicate with the sales manager to understand which vehicles or deals to highlight on social media.
- Feedback Loop: Encourage feedback from colleagues on social media strategies and content performance. Adjust the approach based on their insights.
- Story boarding: Plan the video content by outlining what needs to be captured, including key shots and messages.
- Filming: Use a smartphone or camera to shoot the video. Ensure good lighting and sound quality.
- Editing: Use video editing tools (like in-app TikTok/Instagram editors) to cut, edit, and add effects or music.
- Posting: Optimize video content for each platform, considering factors like video length.
- Respond/React to Comments: Regularly check each platform for comments. Reply promptly and in a tone that reflects the brand’s personality—friendly, helpful, and professional.
- Engage with Followers: Like, comment, and share user-generated content that mentions or tags Bill Luke Marana.
- Hashtag Strategy: Develop and use a mix of popular and niche hashtags to increase visibility. Research which hashtags are trending within the automotive industry.
Qualifications
- Strong teamwork skills with a team-first mentality.

- Must have a clean and valid driver's license.
- Must be 18 or over.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Social Media Expertise: Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, including best practices for content creation, posting, and engagement.
- Creative Skills: Proficiency in Canva and other content creation tools, with an eye for design and detail.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and lead generation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional yet approachable tone.
- Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Camera Confidence: Comfortable being on camera for video content, with a natural and engaging presence.
- Self-Management: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and a strong work ethic.
- Customer Service Orientation: Experience in managing customer interactions on social media platforms, with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism.
- Trend Awareness: Keen understanding of social media trends and the ability to adapt to new features and changes in algorithms.
