General Summary:

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Coordinator, Student Conduct. The Coordinator, Student Conduct investigates and adjudicates alleged violations of behavioral policies by University students and student organizations found in violation of University policies which promote personal and educational development and maintains University standards; Oversees and conducts proactive educational academic integrity and behavioral programming; Assists with daily operations of Office of Student Conduct; and actively participates in outreach and liaison activities. This position will be located on the Gainesville campus but will be expected to travel to the other campuses as needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

The Coordinator, Student Conduct will:

  • Investigate High Level Behavioral Cases
  • Assists in the entering of data and maintenance of the judicial database (Maxient)
  • Oversee and conduct proactive educational academic integrity and behavioral programming.
  • Communicate Honor Code and Standards of Conduct to students, staff and faculty members.
  • Oversee Conduct Committee hearings related to student conduct issues.
  • Assist with training efforts for Conduct Officers, Committee Panelists, etc.
  • Conduct Committee Coordination; serves as primary coordinator for hearing committees, including recruitment and training of faculty and student committee members and scheduling of hearings

Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in Higher Education, Student Affairs, College Student Personnel, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in student conduct or student affairs, working with conduct boards or related work experience preferred.
