Our growing Omni-channel Solutions Practice provides management and technology consulting services to help a diverse set of clients around the world deliver a seamless customer experience through singular commerce.

This is a key position in our OMS/Omni-channel Practice with solution delivery responsibilities for strategic retail customers. Specific areas of focus include IBM Sterling order and inventory management, order routing, call center support, payment processing and returns and exchanges.

IBM OMS Quality Assurance Lead Responsibilities include:

Delivering business results that reflects creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative and the following abilities:

  • QA Script Creation
  • QA Script Execution (Hands-On) within Sterling OMS solution
  • Support execution of QA test cycles (integration, UAT) with client
  • Defining execution of business processes using the IBM OMS application
  • Assist in developing training material
  • Communicating effectively with the project team in all aspects required to produce deliverables
  • Support of Mock Cutover Plans
  • Support of Cutover Task List
  • Delivery of Super User Training
  • Delivery of Train-the-Trainer
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Enterprise Order Management (EOM) projects, based on an in-depth knowledge of application features/functions and the unique business requirements of the client
  • Use this expertise to understand the requirements expressed by the business, translate the requirements into solutions, and work with the business colleagues to manage the resulting change
  • Managing requirement documents, issues lists, and providing project status updates;
  • Identify functional requirements of the EOM application for retail, ecommerce, and wholesale distribution channels
  • Have a basic understanding of operational processes, business processes and information flows required to produce an effective supply chain solution
  • Review integration mapping documents and validate integration testing results are as expected
  • Lead design reviews and develop solution design documents for both High Level and Low Level Design artifacts
  • Validate basic Technical Design documents in collaboration with developers
  • Building solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive teamwork environment, leverage diverse views to encourage innovation and help develop and grow team members throughout the course of every engagement by providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
  • Keep informed on the latest trends and emerging technologies within the Omni-Channel OMS ecosystem

Experience & Skills: Full capability to define all OMS functionality using one or more of the following systems:

  • Required: IBM and Manhattan Associates (MA) OMS or Sterling OMS
  • Also: Aptos, Kibo, Softeon, Magento, SAP (Hybris), Oracle (ATG)
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four year college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management with IT focus, or related discipline.
  • 5+ experience in Consulting or Industry

Experience Level: Min 3+ Years of Tier 1/Best of Breed OMS Implementation Experience
