Assess, develop and implement training and programs that align with the organization’s strategic goals.

Create a learning and development strategy, vision and action plan to implement diverse learning systems that contribute to the overall success of the company.
Partner with key stakeholders to understand, develop, and deliver training for all levels and locations.
Lead the design, development, and delivery of learning and development courses and programs for a diverse workforce.
Develop the infrastructure for all training and development programs by establishing and standardized methods and procedures for delivery, evaluation measurement, and reporting.
Project manage learning and development initiatives including coordination of logistics, managing materials and providing a critical eye to ensure content is stage ready.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of learning and development programs.
Conduct needs analysis to determine specific training needs, program objectives, and content and identify most effective and efficient delivery methods.
Facilitate programs on a variety of topics through classroom training courses, web-based seminars, informational meetings, written instruction, online courses and one-on-one coaching.
Foster an innovative learning environment through coaching, mentoring and providing ongoing feedback.
Identify appropriate subject matter experts and conduct train the trainer programs; evaluate and certify field trainers.
Serve as best practices champion to ensure that programming supports the HEROES culture.
May supervise Learning and Development Coordinator or other support associates. Serves as a manager and mentor of trainees while in the classroom or other training settings. Conducts evaluations of trainees to provide feedback to participants and managers. Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND TALENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in education, business, or related field and 5-7 years’ experience in a corporate learning and development position or 10+ years’ experience with corporate learning and development
5+ years’ experience performing, designing, developing, and implementing instructor-led and eLearning products
Curriculum design experience required; certification a plus
Training/facilitation certification required
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Creative instructional design skills
Ability to be resourceful in researching issues, solving problems, and offering creative solutions.
Sound analytical and critical thinking skills (i.e. ability to identify when training is the actual solution and provide training if required
Solid coaching and influencing skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines.
Advanced skills in MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; proficiency with Internet applications and software.
