Index Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support a government client in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The primary function is to conduct operational and data analytics supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)s Federally facilitated Marketplace Agent and Broker Program.
Responsibilities

Extract and analyze data from multiple CMS and other systems to conduct operational and data analysis of Marketplace data, as well as related data from stakeholders, to assist in developing program metrics.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly Tableau dashboards to display metrics.

Prepare and finalize standard and ad hoc reports to brief CMS stakeholders and highlight Marketplace activity and metrics.

Support business requirements development for new capabilities.

Lead efforts to identify and develop process improvements for data delivery.

Contribute to quick turnaround data requests from government stakeholders.

Actively participate in internal team and government meetings to discuss status updates, issue resolution, planning activities.

Build and maintain multiple reports using a variety of tools including Tableau, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics.

Plan and lead operational analyses, trends analyses, and dashboard development.

Plan and lead complex and advanced data analysis initiatives in support HHS programs.

Conduct analyses to monitor outcomes and develop recurring and timely reports based on incoming data.

Optimize processes and communication and outreach framework to interact with external systems to receive, analyze and share relevant data.

Interface with SMEs, inter-departmental scientists, data collection technicians and clients for smooth project completion.

Prepare regular reports to brief stakeholders and highlight program activity and metrics.

US citizen or lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust background investigation

Bachelors Degree

8 years relevant work experiencearchitecting and developing solutions for data analysis and research initiatives.

Experience with CMS data sources preferred.

5+ years programming for diverse data analytics/statistical analysis programs using technologies such as SAS, or Python.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short turnaround times.

Highly proficient in manipulating and analyzing data from multiple data sources.

Demonstrated experience in Tableau.

Experience with a variety of business intelligence, visualization, and analytic platforms including Google Analytics, Power BI, and Adobe Analytics.

Demonstrated experience serving as a highly collaborative team contributor able to jump in when needed to complete tasks.

Strong written and oral communication

Proficiency in MS Office suites including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
