Junior Library Guild is looking for several Holistic Sales Representative who enjoys cultivating and building relationships with new and existing customers and thrives in a fast-paced environment with the drive to meet and exceed daily, monthly, and quarterly KPIs and sales goals. We are adding new sales reps, to our team!
Who We Are
Junior Library Guild is the premier book review and collection development service helping PreK–12 school libraries and public libraries acquire the best new children's and young adult books through a monthly subscription. Our customers trust us to put the best books into the hands of their eager young readers, many of which go on to win the top publishing awards and earn industry honors. We’re looking for a Holistic Sales Representative to join in that work and provide outstanding service to our customers and get the best books in the county into more hands.
What You’ll Do
This role requires someone who is results driven and exhibits curiosity, collaboration, and coachability. As a Holistic Sales Representative, you will take ownership of establishing professional relationships with librarians and other key personnel in your assigned territory cultivating and expanding the JLG services. This role requires an individual who practices active listening, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to engage, persuade and close a deal.
Key Qualifications

Previous experience and comfort in commission-based sales role

Previous experience with monthly and yearly goals and quotas

Must have 2+ years inside sales experience in the K to 12, school / public library space.

Previous experience working both renewals and new business territories

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel)

Previous experience working with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce

Previous experience working in the K12 school system with a focus on selling to librarians a big plus

In-Person travel via car or plane up to 10% of your time
