We currently have a need for a PRN Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team of dedicated rehabilitation professionals in our Inova Physical Therapy Center in Tysons, VA .
We offer a 1:1 patient treatment model, a formal mentorship program a commitment to continuing education and personal growth. We also offer student loan assistance along with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate essential skills in the use of treatment modalities, equipment and protocols.
- Complete progress notes that reflect patients' responses to treatment and actual performance as well as perform assessments as to status, relevant to the treatment plan, and eventual discharge needs/treatment summaries.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors and outside contacts.
Requirements
- Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant License in good standing prior to start
- Associates Degree from Licensed Physical Therapy program
- No experience is required
- Must have First Aid, BLS, & CPR Certification from American Heart Association upon start
- Basic computer knowledge and communication skills
