Responsibilities
· Perform all duties assigned in a safe manner, and uphold all state, local, and federal safety regulations.
· Receive and Perform field service calls, installations, and preventive maintenance on beverage equipment.
· Program, install, and maintain PLCs and other electrical equipment in a food production line environment.
· Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or any other detailed technical drawings as they would relate to the proper installation.
· Troubleshoot electrical circuits using appropriate tools such as, multimeters, amp meters, …etc. and implement proper corrective action.
· Perform basic electrician duties such as pulling wire, terminating, installing cable trays, patch panels, and various sensors, motors, and actuators.
- Instructing maintenance and operating personnel in the proper operating and maintenance procedures, as well as, safety, clean-up procedures for Packaging equipment.
· Accurately report daily activities for invoicing and tracking
· Constant and consistent communication with the Service Manager and Office.
Requirements
· 3 years of experience working with food/ beverage equipment is required.
· A valid driver’s license is required.
· Must pass an MVR review, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen.
- Siemens and Rockwell programing experience preferred.
- Have an openness to travel as this position is a 100% travel position.
- Experience with Krone's specific machinery.
