Our Chicago Studio has an immediate need for a Sr Architectural Project Manager. The Senior Architectural Project Manager has overall project management responsibility for a variety of projects or project teams, including client contact, scheduling, and budgeting. Most projects will focus on interior architecture.
Management of the design team.
Financial management of project(s).
Project schedule development and management.
Project budget development and management.
Reviews project for building code compliance.
Project document coordination and review.
Project compliance with contract and owner requirements.
Construction administration management.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project team. Leads project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees. May have responsibility for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating a work unit and/or group.
Bachelor's Degree (B.Arch) or Master's Degree (M.Arch) from four-year college or university.
Minimum 15+ years’ experience required.
Architecture registration required.
Experience with commercial/ institutional/complex building types
Experienced with Revit, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Sketch-UP and Adobe Suite.
Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail
Ability to present and articulate ideas and analyses
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity and complex challenges
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and distributed teams
