Job Posting: Country Church Seeks Part-time Minister
We are seeking a part-time Minister, 10-15 hours a week, to join our church family. Our congregation seeks a part-time Minister to provide spiritual guidance, support, and leadership to our congregation. We are a small rural church, celebrated our 185th anniversary recently, and wish to find an individual who has a solid understanding of Congregational Christian principles.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct religious services, including engaging sermons, prayers, and communion
- Provide pastoral care and counseling to individuals and families in need
- Perform weddings and funerals for church members
-Visit shut in members monthly.
- Council and assist the Church Board in growing church membership
- Participate in various church programs and activities
- There are no administrative requirements for the position, these are handled by another position within the Church.
-Church services are at 10:00 a.m. Sunday.
