The preferred candidate shall be an experienced project manager of LNG projects (liquefaction) having delivered either greenfield or brownfield EPC and/or EPCM services.

The candidate will be responsible for the direction and management of teams of Project Engineers, Discipline Engineers, Designers and workshare resources (high value engineering) involved in the execution of LNG projects. The candidate will be required to apply leadership, management and project delivery skills to demonstrate excellence in the following key areas:

Project and Program Management (including PMC/IPMT project scopes)
Customer relationship management and engagement
Positioning for and winning new scopes of work and new projects
Preparation of estimates, proposals, project variations (change management)
Risk management of assigned services and deliverables
Commercial business acumen
Project cost and schedule monitoring, control and analysis
Quality Assurance
Interface management (customer, contractors & internal teams)
Problem solving analysis and resolution
Outstanding communication and formal presentation skills
Management of health, safety, environmental risks associated with project activities.

Development and implementation of actions to improve cost effectiveness and efficiency of project execution.

Effective management and control of risks through engineering design, construction, installation, and commissioning.

Mentoring, coaching, training and technical leadership of subordinates.

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience:
A strong technical background with a minimum of 10 years’ LNG industry experience
Operations or commissioning experience in the LNG industry is desired
A proven track record in managing projects with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager
Sound understanding of related standards and codes of practice in the LNG industry
Familiarity with industry standard business support systems i.e. project planning packages, cost management systems, ISO9001 quality management systems
The flexibility to travel and work globally as required.
