Contract Web Content Developer needed in the Tallahassee area. This role is scheduled to start 7/1 through 6/30/19.
This position will serve as a content developer (graphic design, videography, and SharePoint and web development), scheduling manager, and logistical oversight figure and Transportation Technology Management Team’s web author to support change management efforts and activities. Examples of expected job duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Support enterprise change management administrative functions. Maintain staff calendars, coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and other events; including but not limited to travel, audio/visual equipment, location, etc. Produce, organize, and assemble resources and materials as need. Attend meetings as required on behalf of Enterprise Change Management Office. Plan, process, monitor, and report budget needs; including but not limited to processing/coordinating purchases, travel, contractual agreements and other expenditures and reconciliation. Maintain accurate property management records to complete inventory inspections; including but not limited to software, hardware, and furniture. (35%)
  • Serve as primary Web Author. Design, develop, and maintain content and structure for the Transportation Technology Management Team’s Intranet, Internet, and SharePoint sites. Monitor websites for compliance with Section 508 Electronic and Information Technology Standards and address all non-compliant issues reporting by the Office of Information Technology. (40%)
  • Design and develop organizational change management and communication tools to identify and evaluate stakeholders’ knowledge, skills, and abilities, enhance professional development, deliver communications and increase engagement, and monitor implementation for multiple enterprise level projects, priorities, and initiatives in accordance with policies, procedures, and systems and applications requirements. (25%)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of web development industry concepts; including but not limited to HTML, XML, Visual Basic Script, Java Script, CSS
  • Knowledge of 508 Electronic and Information Technology Standards
  • Skill in researching, compiling, and analyzing data to report findings
  • Skill in using office automation tools (MS Office 2010, SharePoint 2010, Email/Calendaring, etc.)
  • Skill in developing auditing activities; including but not limited to surveys, interviews, etc.
  • Skill in coordinating meetings, workshops, conferences, and travel accommodations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Ability to interact and collaborate directly with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to use multimedia development tools (audio-video production, streaming media, graphic design, web site design, etc.)
