About Baxter’s Technical Services Team:
Technical Services is responsible for repairing and improving the service we provide to patients, hospitals, and customers. It is a global team around the global providing the best quality of infusion treatment and medical devices. This team markets, launches, and supports the commercial activities for medical device equipment servicing. As a Regional Lead of the Operational Excellence team for USA & Canada region, this person will support OpEx deployment across the Technical Service team This individual should be a strong team player with highly developed communication and presentation skills. This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Operational Excellence Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive OpEx program deployment for Technical Services US & Canada
Ensure each applicable function has OpEx support infrastructure and deployment plan
Work closely with department management to better understand how OpEx can assist in their continuous improvement journey
Develop an OpEx individuals in the region
Assist in the coordination and development of the organization’s Operational Excellence deployment plan to include VIP, Certification Programs, Best Practices Sharing, and others.
Assists leadership in establishing baseline and target metrics for key processes.
Work with leadership in installing organizational supports for Operational Excellence (reviews, communications, rewards, software, etc.)
Must have experience developing support programs
Must have Six Sigma Green Belt certification, Black Belt preferred
Must have a working knowledge of LEAN tools and methodology
Must be able to function in a team environment.
Must be able to directly lead and/or co-lead high-impact process improvement projects.
Must use data analytics in problem solving.
Ability to manage multiple projects. Demonstrated skills in planning, budgeting and project management directed toward achievement of business goals.
Proven skills working with cross-functional teams.
Strong negotiating and influencing skills. The ability to drive change.
Excellent reading, writing and verbal communication and platform skills in local language as well as in English. strong teaching and presentation skills required.
Strong analytical/statistical problem solving skills.
Strong Coaching and Facilitation skills.
Certified Green Belt, solid knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles with a minimum 5 years for Mgr I, which includes a minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated process improvement success.
Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA degree or equivalent degree in Business Management, Engineering, or other related field of study. MBA, MS or other technical graduate degree preferred.
