6 Months Contract to Hire position
The Network Administrator 2 team member will be responsible for the installation, documentation, troubleshooting, security and lifecycle management of network infrastructure including firewalls, routers and switches. The team member will also implement, maintain and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks of different designations: LANs, WANs, CANs and remote site to site connectivity. They will also perform day-to-day administration of wired and wireless network infrastructure and connectivity across campuses, in a datacenter environment and remote sites. They will provide advanced support to the Enterprise for network related issues, contribute to departmental and enterprise projects and participate in a rotating, after hours on-call schedule.

Hard Skills Responsibilities
Must be available to respond via personal smart phone during working and non-working hours. Smart phones will be registered with the CoServ Mobile Data Management system.
Administers, maintains and supports wired and wireless LANs, WANs, remote sites connected through VPN tunnels, dedicated point-to-point circuits and/or cellular ISP.
Next generation firewall administration including policy design and implementation.
Manages network infrastructure lifecycle including commissioning, firmware and software image management, hardware upgrades and decommissioning.
Manages physical network wiring infrastructure according to best practices.
Contributes to and maintains operations documentation, including configuration data, change requests, installation procedures, diagrams, and test plans
Troubleshoots and proactively identifies and mitigates network availability/performance issues and security risks
Develops, maintains and tests the Disaster Recovery plan for networking

Education and Certifications Required
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
3+ years experience in Network Administration, to include:
Strong experience with routing protocols like OSPF
Designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and administering secure TCP/IP WAN/LAN/WLAN networks
Experience with network & security hardware, software & configuration (firewalls, routers, encryption devices, switches, etc.)
Experience with IPSEC and secure site to site VPN tunnels
Experience with IP management (subnettings, VLANs, IPAM)
Datacenter network management experience
Experience with network cable management
Extreme Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco hardware experience
Experience with virtual hypervisor networking
Experience with DNS, RADIUS, IPAM, Netflow/SFlow, SNMP
Experience with designing, monitoring and managing wireless networks and related components (sensors, access points, controllers)
Cellular data network experience
Experience with Network QOS administration
Experience with VOIP
Experience with project management principles
