Job responsibilities include supporting, monitoring and resolving network related infrastructure issues. Troubleshooting, installing, implementing and administering network components and systems. Looking for a candidate who will understands multiple network environments, specifically Cisco environments.
Seeking a Network Administrator. The member technical staff will be a part of large to enterprise wide sized projects related to the network environment.
Manage day-to-day IT infrastructure
Monitor networking equipment
Oversee troubleshooting for system errors
Ensure security for users’ accounts and information
Provide helpdesk support for network issues and respond to requests for IT support
Assist with network security
Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and software
Modify configurations, utilities, software, etc.
Document internal procedures
Install, test, and monitor servers, firewalls, and new software
Perform data backups
Install and update network system improvements as needed
Keep inventory of equipment, software, and licenses
Requirements and Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
2-4 years of relevant IT experience in a similar role – Heavy Cisco Networking experience
Azure Networking experience required (Vnet, Subnet, Azure Firewalls, NSG, etc.)
Cisco certifications preferred
Experience with helpdesk and IT support
Experience working with networking management tools
Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades
Comfortable level of knowledge of the majority of the following: Cisco Networking products, Fortinet Firewalls and Wireless Solutions, Network Monitoring Tools, , TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, DNS, DHCP, Radius, Two-Factor Authentication Products.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Location: This position is located onsite in Sandy, UT. No relocation assistance is provided.
