Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of IT services, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
· Client Acquisition: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
· Sales Presentations: Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of Automates' services.
· Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver accurate and compelling sales proposals and quotes to prospective clients.
· Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, working to close deals and achieve sales targets.
· Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
· Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
· Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular updates and reports to the sales manager.
· Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure the successful delivery of services and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably within the IT services or technology sector.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
· Skills: Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and achieve targets. Strong understanding of IT solutions and managed services.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
· Presentation: Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver engaging and persuasive sales pitches.
· Organization: Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
· Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
