Marketing Copywriter (Remote)

  • Candidates must be residing in the United States, ideally in EDT / CDT. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States via W2 arrangement.

We have an exciting opportunity to work within the Global Marketing team as a Marketing Copywriter We are looking for a candidate that has the ability to create excellent marketing communications across a variety of channels and content mediums. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the value of good writing to meet customer needs and contribute to the growth and development of the organization.

As a Marketing Copywriter for RiseSmart, you’ll generate compelling ideas that get people to act. You’ll often translate complex topics into succinct, engaging ideas. You should be a person who likes their copy to be perfect — crafting brief, precise messages often with limited space. In addition, you’ll ensure consistent quality and tone of voice across the many touch points that carry the message to the target audience.

What Will You Do?

Content creation - the mainstay of the role is creating and reviewing copy for an array of uses - supporting sales with custom copy for brochures, flyers and one-pagers, but also assisting with website copy edits, and long-form content such as ebooks and whitepapers ensuring it is accurate, consistent and compelling.

Content strategy - Contribute to idea generation and pitch content that supports the overall global marketing strategy

Collaborate with Creative, Communications, Social Marketing, Demand Generation, Solution Marketing, Sales, external agency teams and other internal stakeholders to concept and develop messaging for product launches, campaigns, and thought leadership.

Managing awards entries and writing copy for submissions or organizing and writing initial drafts of scripts for video entries.

Understand the audience - By truly understanding the buyer profile you will be able to suggest campaign ideas for addressing this target audience, be that ebooks, podcasts, videos or whitepapers etc.

Reading/consuming industry content to understand the messaging and positions of our rivals and regularly take part in messaging sessions to find ‘white space’ and opportunities for message ownership

Work closely with a social media executive to manage content and ensure messaging across social posts and platforms is consistently applied but also engaging

Collaborating with our Creative team to make the content look visually impressive for internal/external stakeholders

Ensure content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice; is exemplary in their use of grammar, language, and editorial guidelines, and displays an understanding of Flesch Kincaid's readability requirements

What Will You Bring to the Table?

Excellent ability creating original and compelling copy in both long and short forms

Excellent knowledge of writing for offline and digital channels

Excellent track record in creating and reviewing impactful B2B and B2C copy

Excellent command of written and spoken English

Proven experience of writing technical and promotional content

Experience of internal stakeholder engagement / management

Proven experience of quality control of copy content

A passion for brand and house style

Experience in staffing, recruitment, Human Capital Management (HCM), career transition, talent mobility, a plus
