Focused, detail-oriented, and able to support day-to-day needs for business development within an ENR 500 firm, the Business Development Associate is a corporate staff position reporting to the Executive Vice President - Business Development.
This position will support the long term development of new clients and opportunities, as well as the maintenance of existing client relationships, through tracking pursuits; conducting research on potential pursuits; preparing routine reports which measure progress and project results; writing, developing, proofreading, and editing marketing and proposal materials; and other office duties as assigned.
Travel is limited; this is a supporting role performed mainly in the Fairfax, Virginia, office.
Full-time is preferred, but will consider part-time.
The Business Development Associate responsibilities will include:
Researching potential opportunities
Cultivating, tracking, and developing opportunities
Communicating with clients and potential clients
Developing proposal and marketing materials
Managing schedules and gathering resources
Planning for conferences and events
Producing routine reporting
Working with a team
Marketing, Business, or Liberal Arts degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Proficiency in Deltek Vision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
