The Sr. Quality Control Analyst will train and mentor incoming Associate Quality Control Analysts and will review and approve analytical test results and maintain complete, accurate and legible test records, in accordance with company policy and record keeping procedure.
Location: North Kansas City, MO.
Reports to: Lab Supervisor.
Schedule: Mon - Friday 02:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Flexibility on call off shifts and weekends.
Main Responsibilities and Activities:

Review and approve analytical test results.

Provide onboarding training for Associate QC Analyst positions.

Ensure test samples are gathered, prioritized, and tested within expected time frame.

Maintain complete, accurate and legible test records, in accordance with Company policy and record keeping procedure.

Ensure cleaning and housekeeping tasks for both the laboratory environment and testing equipment are completed.

Assist with minor laboratory equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

Perform testing and conduct analysis for special projects and nonconforming product investigations.

Fill laboratory shift vacancies, as needed.

Assist with maintaining and updating laboratory procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field (minimum 5 years’ experience working in a laboratory environment).

Minimum of 1-year Supervisory experience preferred.

Strong computer skills with word, database, and spreadsheet experience.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills, statistical analysis.

Strong knowledge and compliance with Laboratory bench practices and equipment management.
