What you’ll be doing...
The Fleet Coordinator will administer policies accurately and consistently within Fleet Guidelines & ensure all actions are in accordance with the Code of Business Conduct for Verizon.
Administrator driver relocation and employee information updates for Fleet Tracker & Element – Update online VFleet forms to submit to Corporate Fleet in a timely manner.
Apply some technical or analytical skills to the position or specialization. Identify key issues and patterns from partial or conflicting usage data. Adapt procedures, processes, tools, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position. Assist in the preparation of detailed costs analysis and justification for technical application changes.
Create data by running reports, analyze the data, and provide feedback to support Fleet initiatives in cost savings for the company. Take appropriate action to manage cost savings initiates. Review and perform audits on reports prior to distribution to ensure accuracy.
Give guidance on objectives relative to a particular program task, project or initiative. Work independently with limited supervision.
Engage in the bi-monthly EH&S call regarding vehicle incidents that have occurred throughout the market & identify if there is a common trend among drivers.
Liaison between Corporate Fleet/Element and the company’s drivers to ensure accurate records, repair requests, pool vehicle usage, and cost savings initiatives.
Maintain a complete inventory system through the recording of all expenditures and income of each vehicle, maintenance equipment, fuel, repair parts, supplies, registrations, Bill Of Sale & Emission/Inspection tests, etc.
Manage all pool caretakers in the respective market. Ensure Pool Units are kept in working order, has an up to date registration, WEX fuel card, Element card and state insurance card.
New driver request fuel pin # submit the following to Corporate Fleet - employee name, VZ Learn driving completion course certificates, employee id and enterprise id #. Set up driver’s profiles in Ops Tracker/Fleet Tracker.
Provide & distribute communications/documents to Drivers, Directors, and Corporate Fleet for all vehicle registrations, insurance cards, training, recalls & policy notices.
Research historical records with market to validate trailers and equipment with missing paperwork and missing information on new unit additions.
New Unit Additions to Corporate Fleet Program – Ensure all Purchasing information is gathered from Engineers that purchase any new trailer to have equipment entered into program for registrations. Submit new vehicle order form to Corporate Fleet. Receive notification for all new fleet vehicle delivery, contact manager/driver of delivery of the unit, and submit a copy of the registration to Corporate Fleet and delivery date. New trailer, trucks, and generators submit certificate of Origin, Bill of Sale, manufacturer specifications and pictures for new unit set up (Element Unit #) for VZ owned units.
Attend National Fleet Coordinator Conference Calls with the Regulatory and Corporate Fleet Teams to ensure accuracy in planning, reporting, delivery and communications to drivers.
Troubleshoot technical issues for Fleet Tracker when profiles are not functioning properly.
Receive and distribute all vehicle registrations and insurance cards to respective market. Scan a copy of each registration and upload to unit’s record in Fleet Tracker prior to distribution.
Maintain fleet vehicles files such as attachments, registrations, Bill Of Sale & Emission/Inspection tests.
Request misplaced/lost fuel and maintenance cards from Corporate Fleet, and distribute these cards to the drivers when needed.
Work with other Fleet Coordinators to shuffle/shift under-utilized vehicles to other respective markets.

Ability to work with a variety of teams within the local region and territory teams as well as outside vendors. This person needs to be detail oriented in order to ensure the accuracy of inventory vehicles. They should have the ability to meet daily goals and deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience
Experience in network inventory or fleet management
