Apprisen, a leading non-profit that provides financial education and counseling services to families across the United States, is looking to add a software developer to our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying technical expertise to the design, implementation, and monitoring of Apprisen IT systems and programs. This position may also require the operation and maintenance of Apprisen software and other related systems. Should be familiar with a variety of modern operating systems and development platforms. Must have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist in the design and development of enterprise applications.
Write high quality source code to program complete applications.
Participate in full development lifecycle – from system requirements to the development, testing, deployment and support.
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
Develop technical documents to accurately represent application design and code.
Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
Assist in performing tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience in a developer role.
Experience with C#, ASP.Net MVC
Experience with SQL, SQL Server and SSRS
Experience with Visual Studio
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good team player
Knowledge of object-oriented programming
Other qualifications that are helpful, but not required
Familiarity with modern ORM
Experience developing progressive web apps
Familiarity with Angular and Typescript
Knowledge of Microsoft .Net Core technologies
Experience with Git
Front-end UI design
Strong analytical skills
