Our Des Moines (Seattle), WA dealership is a Volvo and Mack heavy duty truck franchise and Wabash National Trailers dealership. We sell a wide inventory of new and used trucks and trailers and also feature parts, service, and financing. We have an immediate opportunity for a customer and sales-driven Used Truck Sales Representative who wants to be part of continuing to drive our success and status as a leader in the industry.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing new sales accounts and achieving monthly sales goals. To be successful, you will need to be a self-starter, goal-driven, and able to work well with sales team. You must be assertive and persuasive, with superior listening skills to understand each customers' unique needs.

We provide you with what you need to be successful including training, all reasonable business expenses paid by the company, and use of company laptop and cell phone.
In this role your primary responsibilities will be to:
Identify, profile, and call on prospective customers within assigned territory, developing and applying strategy as necessary to obtain orders.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities. You must be comfortable with EXTENSIVE cold calling. Walk-ins are very rare. You must have the drive to generate and follow through on new leads.
Ensure customer satisfaction from start of sale to delivery of truck, resolving any issues that may occur.
Maintain contact with existing customers in relation to their needs; connect customers to other internal departments as needed (e.g., finance, service, parts, insurance, etc.).
Stay up-to-date on inventory, market, and customer trends.
Previous successful sales experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas desired.
We are also open to candidates with experience in the truck/trailer industry and desire to get into sales. These candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong sales aptitude.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
You must be able to listen to customer needs, identify solutions, successfully negotiate, and make the sale.
You must be able to accurately complete all required sales processes and paperwork.
Ability to learn equipment specifications to communicate effectively with customers.
Ability to build relationships with customers, source business, and achieve sales goals.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record (CDL desired but not required).
