Coordinates with licensed merchandise companies and Nintendo Company, Ltd. (NCL) to introduce new consumer products into the marketplace that meet Nintendo’s product standards and strategic objectives.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Works with licensed merchandise companies and Nintendo Company, Ltd. (NCL) to introduce new licensed products into the marketplace that meet Nintendo’s product standards and strategic objectives.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with Nintendo’s quality guidelines and for providing direction to partners in the development and execution of their Nintendo Licensed Products.
Responsible for the coordination and completion of licensed product approvals by overseeing the project.
Reviews products and designs to ensure licensees have complied with Nintendo’s quality standards, Nintendo IP and art usage guidelines.
Provides status, direction, recommendations, and comments to internal teams.
Works with NCL to organize/document/package/report on the specs/guidelines/tools/etc. created by the experts for the development and approval of licensed merchandise for the worldwide market (excluding Japan and Korea.)
Works in partnership with the Licensed Product Specialist to coordinate the review and approval of licensed products.
Keeps complete and thorough records of communications related to active, inactive, and completed projects.
Compiles project status reports, coordinates project review schedules, and sets up/manage project review meetings.
Reviews products and designs to ensure licensees have complied with Nintendo’s quality standards, Nintendo IP and art usage guidelines.
Coordinates communication with NCL from concept approval through final license approval.
Manages Nintendo Art Assets for use by Licensed Product partners
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
One to three years related experience.
Intermediate level PC skills (MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of graphics software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) preferred.
Proven ability to achieve results in a fact paced environment with fluctuating priorities. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to interact with assigned accounts, NDB and other NOA and NCL departments.
Thorough knowledge of Nintendo franchise characters and IP.
Strong proofing and editing skills.
Familiarity with file transfer and storage programs.
Video Game Industry experience a plus.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
