Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of work experience which include 10 years of experience in a related field (Organizational Development, Organization Design, Leadership Development, HR).
Experience in organizational health, strategy alignment, organization design, and/or change consulting.
Master’s degree or MBA.
10 years of OD/consulting experience, delivering tangible client impact in multiple practice areas (e.g., Organizational Design, Organizational Health, and Change Strategy, and/or Organizational Development at VP+ level, etc.).
Experience working across multiple client groups and/or geographies.
Experience leading complex organization transformation work, across stakeholder matrix.
Ability to rapidly build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Excellent executive presence, responsiveness, business focus, integrity, sound judgment, and ability to prioritize effectively across competing demands.

The Organizational Development (OD) team provides strategy consulting, executive team development, and organizational effectiveness solutions that increase the health and performance of Google’s organizations and overall business. As an OD Portfolio Director, you will be aligned to our Consumer Technology Portfolio, and will be responsible for driving the organizational development strategy for those product areas over time. You will deliver your portfolio in partnership with an agile team of OD Practitioners, who work across client groups on engagements in support of business priorities; supported by our. Center of Expertise Lead who researches, designs, and deploys excellent methodologies, tools, and approaches focused on our key lines of service.
In this role, you will provide overall strategic leadership for the OD Portfolio for Google’s Consumer Technology Product Areas. You will partner closely with the VP of HR and their team to shape a portfolio of enterprise critical projects. Together with the OD Practitioners, you will provide organizational diagnosis and delivery of interventions that increase the health and performance of the Consumer Tech PAs.

Build a deep understanding of the Consumer Tech businesses, internal and external landscape to inform and shape a portfolio of enterprise critical OD work.
Build trust with key stakeholders, enabling deeper diagnosis and interventions that will advance the health of the Consumer Tech PAs. Partner with stakeholders to build readiness where needed.
Lead and support the team of OD Practitioners that will design, deliver and implement effective solutions to address complex/multifaceted needs within the context of the larger Organizational Development strategy ensuring the right partners are involved at the right times.
Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of People Development and People Operation methodologies. Oversee, manage and coach junior OD practitioners across all phases of an engagement.
