The Landscape Foreman is an experienced employee in various aspects of the Landscape industry, with little supervision. This position directs a team of two or more in the following activities: planting, spring clean-up/mulch, pruning, seasonal color, soil, garden/bed maintenance, plant fertilization, spraying/removal of weeds, deep edging, fall clean-up. This individual must be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in horticulture industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge and expertise in all aspects of landscape and bed maintenance.
Dedication to satisfying the needs of clients through quality of work and positive attitude.
Ability to lead and supervise a team.
Selective ornamental shrub and tree pruning, annual bulb planting, and plant identification skills are a must.
A valid Ohio Driver’s License required.
Degree in Horticulture is preferred but not required.
