Cadia Healthcare of Springbrook is looking for a dynamic and experienced Administrator to lead our dedicated multi-disciplinary team. Our Springbrook building is a 90+-bed facility is located in Silver Spring, MD. We are looking for an energetic and experienced leader, with a strong understanding of federal and state guidelines and regulations, to provide leadership and direct the day to day functions.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's programs and activities
  • Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility in accordance with Corporate practices and procedures
  • Assist department directors in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and performance evaluations
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of competent department directors, supervisors, consultants and other auxiliary personnel
  • Ensure that an adequate number of appropriately trained professional and auxiliary personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the residents
  • Serve as liaison to the governing board, medical staff, and other professional and supervisory staff
  • Assist department directors in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of in-service training classes, on-the-job training and orientation programs to assure that current material and programs are continuously provided
  • Review and interpret monthly financial statements and provide such information to the executive management
  • Review resident complaints and grievances and make written reports of action taken. Discuss with resident and family as appropriate
  • Assist in establishing and implementing a Resident/Group Council and ensure regular meetings occur and are documented
  • Participate in review of Employee Satisfaction surveys and prepare action plans as needed to address employee needs or concerns
  • Responsible for Facility Expense Management and compliance with annual budget
  • Ensure that the facility remains survey ready and compliant with company policy and governmental regulations, prepare and present plan of correction to state or federal agencies post surveys
  • Ensure that facility is compliant and knowledgeable of Emergency Operating Procedures and prepared to take immediate action as needs occur. Ensure that employees are educated regularly on the facility emergency procedures
  • Maintain current NHA license including meeting all continuing education credit requirements needed for renewal
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Maryland Nursing Home Association License required
  • At least 3 years' experience running a 100+ bed facility
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience
  • At least 5 years of budget management experience
  • Long term care experience / Administrator experience preferred
