We are a small Gyn/Integrative Medicine/Bariatrics/Aesthetics practice in Bridgewater, MA. Our team of providers consists of Dr. Angela Aslami, Board Certified OBGYN, Obesity Medicine and Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine, as well as Debra Palfrey, PA, and Frank Scardigno, weight loss coach and soon-to-graduate Registered Dietician. Applicants must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in Women's Health (Ob-Gyn) and/or Primary Care/Integrative Medicine/Functional Medicine/Cardiology/Obesity Medicine, and fully proficient with our EHR (e-ClinicalWorks) and comfortable utilizing Zoom for telehealth visits.
We are looking for a team player, who will see and evaluate patients for routine health visits, gynecologic/menopausal problem visits, obesity assessments (lifestyle and comorbidity assessments as well as coaching on weight loss strategies) perform comprehensive cancer risk assessments, cardiovascular health assessments, hormone testing and balancing, as well as early pregnancy visits, post partum/contraception visits.
We practice an Integrative Medicine approach to chronic diseases utilizing nutritional/hormonal/medical/surgical/behavioral approaches to chronic medical conditions. Many of our patient visits are lab follow ups geared towards executing treatment plans outlined by the physician. Training to facilitate you performing specialty gynecologic treatments such as Cliovana, MonaLisa Touch and SoLa would be provided.
We incorporate nutritional supplements and vitamins, nutrition and hormone testing, toxin-free personal care products, online courses, online and in person group visits, small medical/gyn device sales into our approach with most patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant are responsible for reviewing labs, returning patient phone calls, holding 1 evening session/wk and 2 Saturday sessions per month. The expectation is to see 1 patient every 30 minutes. We do not doublebook. The schedule is: Mondays 10-7 (option to work 8am-7pm exists), Wednesdays 8-5, Thursdays 8-5, Fridays 8-5 and 2 Saturdays per month 8am-noon. Tuesdays 1:30-5 are also an option but not required. It is also possible to trade the Monday evening hours to a different day if needed. It is possible for some of these hours to be telemed from home, and the number of telemed hours can grow as your patient base grows. Charting, lab reviews, patient phone calls should be completed within working hours. (In other words, there is no extra compensation for completing charts outside of your scheduled shifts, thus efficiency in charting is key).
Opportunity exists for dividing this position into 2 part-time positions.
Compensation consists of a guaranteed base salary paid every 2 weeks in the first year. After year one, the option exists to convert to a guaranteed base salary plus a quarterly provider productivity bonus. There is also a quarterly commission bonus, shared equally with all staff.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years experience practicing in ObGyn, Primary Care, Integrative Medicine and/or Functional Medicine, Obesity Medicine.
