The General Council on Finance and Administration (GCFA) is seeking an individual to assist with Human Resources related tasks in multiple areas. This person will be responsible for managing the UltiPro system and its overall function for the HR Department of GCFA, to the benefit of The United Methodist Church. They will be the main UltiPro contact for all HR administrative personnel outside of GCFA. This individual will also co-manage the recruitment and onboarding processes.
Manage the UltiPro system and its overall functions for the GCFA Human Resources Department, to the benefit of The United Methodist Church. Act as the main UltiPro contact for all HR administrative personnel outside of GCFA.
Serve as lead UltiPro trainer for all agencies. Must keep Director and HR administrative personnel with the agencies up-to-date on new upgrades, modules, etc. by providing training, standard operating procedures, emails, webinars, newsletters, etc. Note: training may include light travel.
Co-manage the process for recruitment and onboarding. Post positions, maintain applicant flow log, conduct phone screens and schedule interviews.
Manage the authenticity of the set up and current data in the UltiPro system. Remain current on applicable laws that may affect information in system; conducting continuous data audits; making sure information in system is current and correct at all times.
Work closely with HRIS Analyst.
Assist in day-to-day administrative functions for the department as needed.
Serve as back-up to the Benefits Administrator for the General Agencies in support of all benefits provided for both active and retired employees of the General Agency of The United Methodist Church.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Director.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required or equivalent experience.
Complex understanding of UltiPro system is strongly desired.
Basic application of related HR principles and disciplines.
Preferably 3 – 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
