**Job Overview**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Seasonal Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for preparing, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders to meet customer expectations and defined ship dates as well as unloading received containers, preparing assembles, preforming any checks as required, refurbishing products, and adhering to all safety policies. This role requires strong communication skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Duties**
-Operational Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble boxes, build carts, pick to box using RF Scanner and unload cart to line for pack out.
- Operating the shipping line in Scale, including closing containers, and preparing containers / boxes for shipment per LEM’s standard operating procedures.
- Using RF Scanner, properly builds pallets for wholesale orders, in accordance with customer/distributor requirements; efficiently stages orders for shipment. Ensuring all orders are properly labeled and palletized per customer requirements.
- Assists as needed to unload incoming containers.
- Assembles, labels products, packs accurately and efficiently; completes internal documentation to track completed assemblies.
- Refurbishes products properly and in accordance with LEM’s standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for consistently maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe work environment.
- Required to provide backup relief to other departments during times of absences or during peak operation periods.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, as well as stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
**Skills**
Experience: Previous warehouse experience of up to 6 months or more.
Reasoning and Development: Apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving some variability.
Previous RF Scanner experience preferred.
Mathematical Development: Add and subtract two-digit numbers, perform basic multiplication and division.
Language Development: Ability to read, receive verbal work instructions , understand workplace rules and procedures in English. Ability to recognize two- or three-syllable words, print and speak simple sentences.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
LEM utilizes E-Verify for all employment verification. E-Verify is an Internet-based system that compares information entered by an employer from an employee’s Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, to records available to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration to confirm employment eligibility.
